Senior Manager, Data Strategy Analytics at RGA leads data strategy initiatives, partnering with Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, and Data Science teams to define requirements and scalable data solutions. The role focuses on Snowflake-based data models, cloud platform integration, and enterprise data governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, document, and maintain business and functional requirements and data workflows
- Build robust data models and schemas within Snowflake
- Analyze data sources and support data-driven initiatives
- Create data visualizations and communicate insights to leadership
- Manage automation and process improvements; track ROI
Technical Overview
Leads data strategy with proficiency in Snowflake/Databricks, SQL, Python/R, ETL/ELT tools, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Manages data modeling, orchestration of analytics workloads, and cross-functional stakeholder communication.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior data strategy analytics leader with 5+ years of analytics experience and 5+ years in the insurance/reinsurance industry, strong expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, SQL, and cloud platforms, and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams of data scientists and data engineers.
