About this role
Senior IT Principal focused on software development and cloud-native microservices within the healthcare domain, overseeing architecture, delivery, and integration acrosspremises and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the writing and modifying of complex software application programs by participating in work groups that are responsible for software development, design, and quality testing
- Create detailed specifications and designs for software development, conduct quality assurance reviews, and maintain programs by coding, testing, and debugging documents
- Use SONAR and CheckMarx to comply with java coding standards and develop RESTFUL Web-services using Python, Gunicorn, and Flask
- Lead regular pipeline reviews to ensure pipeline information is thorough and accurate according to AWS' sales cycle stages
- Broker internal resources, tools, references and/or investments needed to execute on the business plans
Technical Overview
Proficient in Java/Spring Boot and Go, with Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, and cloud platforms AWS and Azure; strong API development (REST/GraphQL/SOAP), HL7/FHIR/EHR integrations, and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Terraform).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior software engineer with 5+ years of IT experience, expert in Java/Spring Boot and Go, with cloud experience (AWS/Azure) and healthcare domain knowledge (HL7/FHIR/EHR integrations). They are capable of designing microservices architectures, driving CI/CD automation, and collaborating across teams in a hybrid work setting.
