About this role
The Vice President of Technology Practices & Innovation provides executive leadership for core technical practice areas across IT, including Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Solution Services, and Innovation. The role builds practice leaders and operating models to accelerate enterprise transformation while enabling speed and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Technology practice leadership and operating model
- Define vision and governance for each practice area
- Ensure standards and patterns are adopted
- Elevate IT to enable business capabilities outside IT
- Partner with executives to drive investment decisions
Technical Overview
Leads architecture and engineering practices, governance, and innovation platforms; focuses on establishing standards, reference architectures, and design patterns; collaborates with the C-suite to align technology capabilities with business outcomes.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an executive-level IT leader with at least 15 years of progressive experience, capable of establishing and operating enterprise-wide technology practices (architecture, engineering, solution services, and innovation). They excel at building standards, operating models, and governance at scale, partnering with the C-suite to shape strategy and investments, and driving enterprise transformation.
