Principal AI/ML Scientist leading Abbott's Medical Devices Digital Solutions AI initiatives, building production-grade ML infrastructure, and mentoring ML engineers and data scientists.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ML solution development and deployment
- Architect scalable hybrid ML infrastructure
- Collaborate with data scientists and algorithm teams
- Implement robust CI/CD workflows for ML models
- Ensure regulatory and privacy standards compliance
Technical Overview
Production ML framework with hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure; experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure Databricks, large language models, NLP/NLG, CI/CD for ML, regulatory compliance (HIPAA/GDPR/SaMD).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior ML leader with a strong track record delivering production ML systems and MLOps in a healthcare/regulated environment, proficient in Python and Azure AI tools, with 2+ years at least in a hybrid cloud/on-prem environment and experience guiding cross-functional teams.
