About this role
AutoZone's Automotive Technical Editor IV is a senior data/content editor supporting the ALLDATA production department with automotive data, tagging, and content creation. The role emphasizes data conversion tasks, process documentation, and team onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive assigned department initiatives to successful completion
- Research and identify new automotive systems and technologies and document tagging for electronic database
- Author or edit source material to produce high quality content using prescribed tools
- Modify, run and monitor data conversion tasks and document issues
- Onboard and train new team members
Technical Overview
Focus on data handling and documentation tools (MS Excel, Visio, Word, Confluence) and proprietary ALLDATA tools for data processing and tagging in an electronic database.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced automotive data content editor with strong MS Excel/Visio/Word/Confluence skills and the ability to manage data conversion tasks and produce high-quality documentation.
