Sr. Mechanical Project Engineer at WestRock Florence SC leads mechanical design and project engineering efforts within a manufacturing setting, coordinating cross-functional teams and supplier negotiations.

• Lead mechanical design projects
• Coordinate cross-functional teams
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiations
• Conduct cost/should-cost analyses and implement TCO initiatives
• Develop engineering documentation and testing plans

Focus on mechanical design, design calculations, prototyping and testing, and supplier management within a packaging manufacturing context.

The ideal candidate is a senior mechanical project engineer with cross-functional leadership experience and strong negotiations skills, capable of guiding mechanical projects in a manufacturing packaging environment.
