About this role
Manufacturing Test Infrastructure Engineer at Cisco will design, deploy, and maintain production test stations for optical transceivers, acting as a bridge between engineering, program management, and contract manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Layout, build, and maintenance of production test stations, onsite factory training
- Create and maintain test station schematics and BOMs
- Troubleshooting hardware setups and electronic circuits
- Lab asset management including equipment calibration cycles
- Engage with vendors on equipment quotations and purchasing
Technical Overview
Focus on hardware test infrastructure, including test station schematics and BOMs, rack-mounted equipment, calibration cycles and vendor management; involves cross-functional collaboration and potential use of revision control tools (Agile/Omnify).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level manufacturing test engineer with 2+ years of experience in building and deploying test stations, strong hardware troubleshooting, and experience with rack-mounted equipment and vendor management.
