About this role
BD Facility Systems Engineer drives efficiency and reliability improvements for critical infrastructure including High Purity Water Systems, Building Management Systems, compressed air, and HVAC, while managing capital projects and business continuity planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive efficiency and reliability improvements for critical infrastructure (High Purity Water Systems, Building Management Systems, Compressed Air, and Chilled Water HVAC)
- Management of Capital Projects including initiation and execution
- Leadership of Columbus East Business Continuity initiatives
- Coordinate shutdown planning and execution
- Develop and maintain infrastructure roadmap for growth and obsolescence
Technical Overview
Responsibilities include capital project initiation and execution, change control, and coordination of shutdown planning; requires knowledge of infrastructure systems, MEP design, and industrial construction with on-site execution.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced facility systems engineer with 5+ years in industrial infrastructure, capital projects, and robust knowledge of high-purity water, BMS, and HVAC systems, able to lead reliability and uptime initiatives at a BD Columbus East site.
