About this role
Lead the UX design for Grainger’s customer- and employee-facing products, translating business goals into intuitive digital experiences. Drive design strategy, mentor designers, and contribute to a scalable design system within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and UX Researchers to design intuitive digital experiences for Grainger's customer- and employee-facing products
- Create strategic design artifacts including user journeys, service concepts, and experience frameworks
- Produce detailed interaction designs including user flows, annotated wireframes, and prototypes
- Contribute to and evolve the design system by aligning with existing UI patterns
- Lead multiple design initiatives with minimal direction while aligning with product strategy
Technical Overview
Focus on UX deliverables including user journeys, service concepts, wireframes, and prototypes; contribute to a design system, and ensure accessibility and usability across responsive web and mobile platforms.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior UX designer with 5+ years of experience crafting enterprise/B2B experiences in Agile teams. They bring a strong portfolio, deep expertise in information architecture, usability, accessibility, and design systems, and can lead design initiatives across web and mobile products.
