About this role
Responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing software that controls inline and end-of-line test systems, tracks products during development, and generates operations reports. Works with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain software across manufacturing lines and continually improve systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with cross-disciplinary teams to define requirements
- Design and implement PC-based manufacturing control for in-line and end-of-line test systems
- Validate and deploy software with Operations
- Triage manufacturing systems issues
- Maintain and enhance existing systems and platforms
Technical Overview
Stack includes C# and Python on Linux with PC-based manufacturing control. Familiarity with PyQt for UI and integration into a factory data ecosystem feeding a factory management database. Agile/Scrum environment with cross-functional collaboration.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior manufacturing software engineer with 5+ years of experience in C#, Python, SQL, and Linux, plus hands-on work with PC-based manufacturing and test systems. They should be proficient communicating across cross-functional teams and comfortable delivering in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
