Position Details
About this role
Responsible for assisting with the management of all store employees and execution of store processes, including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, selling, staffing and support. This role serves as a development position to prepare the external candidate for a Store Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to federal and state labor laws and company policies; ensure store is properly staffed
- Order to meet in-stock targets; review ordering plan and inventory management issues
- Facilitate staging, stocking and storage of merchandise; ensure proper merchandising and pricing
- Maintain accurate inventory levels; control damages, markdowns, scanning, and facility controls
- Provide superior customer service leadership and maintain a clean, safe store
