Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing instruments, drawings, schematics, and manufacturer documentation
- Install, modify, or repair electrical infrastructure in accordance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA and local codes
- Support commissioning, upgrades, and capital improvement projects
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for electrical systems, including one-line diagrams and equipment records
Technical Overview
Scope includes electrical distribution, lighting, motor controls, VFDs, panels, switchgear, transformers, NEC/NFPA 70E/OSHA compliance, and documentation via CMMS; requires reading one-line diagrams and electrical drawings.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level electrician with 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical maintenance experience, strong reading of electrical drawings, and proficiency with CMMS and testing equipment. The role requires a Journeyman Electrician license preference, NFPA 70E/OSHA experience, and a safety-first mindset in a fast-paced facility environment.
