Store Manager Candidate responsible for supporting store operations, staffing, inventory, and merchandising. This role is a development track toward Store Manager, with a focus on cashier controls, inventory accuracy, and customer service leadership.

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; provide proper training and evaluations; manage inventory and in-stock targets; maintain cash handling and deposit controls; complete all paperwork and documentation

Non-technical retail operations role with emphasis on people management, inventory practices, and cash controls. Uses standard store systems/manuals (SOP) and POS functions (IBM cash register).

The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior level retail supervisor with strong people management and operational controls. They excel at staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling, and are comfortable leading store opening/closing activities in a Dollar General environment.
