About this role

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to support the Store Manager in the effective implementation of all store processes, including staffing, inventory management, stocking, and receiving; this is a limited-term development role.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in recruiting and staffing activities
Assist with store merchandising and inventory management
Assist in all aspects of inventory management (including proper execution of damages, markdowns, register scanning, paperwork and facility controls); prepare and conduct inventories
Review operating statements to identify business trends and opportunities
Complete all paperwork and documentation according to guidelines and deadlines

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a retail management professional with at least 1 year of management experience in a retail store, strong staffing and inventory control skills, and ability to lead cash handling and customer service in a fast-paced environment.
