Engineer, 5 Year Planning develops tactical 5-year open pit plans aligned with the LOM and site goals. The role collaborates across teams to improve designs, schedules, and risk mitigation using advanced mining software.

Key Responsibilities

Develop tactical 5-year plans for Openpit mines; Monitor and maintain pit designs and schedules; Schedule phased development to align with production targets; Administer detailed risk analyses and mitigation; Prepare forecasts for Opex and Capex

Technical Overview

Proficiency in open-pit mine design and scheduling using Minesight, Vulcan, and Deswik; strong cost modeling and risk analysis capabilities; capable of remote work with site travel as required.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mining engineer with 5+ years in open-pit planning and solid experience with Minesight, Vulcan, and Deswik. They should be able to work remotely with optional site visits to Peru or Denver and communicate fluently in English (Spanish a plus).
