About this role
Senior DT sourcing manager responsible for indirect DT commodities for GE Aerospace; leads negotiations with software and technology providers; develops sourcing strategies and cost-out initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead challenging negotiations with the software industry and licensing models
- Negotiate enterprise license agreements for software & professional services
- Create and deliver commercial, financial, and business objectives for technology goods and services
- Lead sourcing processes in a matrixed environment including RFI/RFPs and single source negotiations
- Develop and implement short- and long-term sourcing strategies for GE Aviation
Technical Overview
Experience with software licensing models, cloud vs on-prem, enterprise license agreements, RFI/RFP processes; cross-functional with finance/legal; knowledge of licensing analytics and cost modeling.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior DT sourcing professional with 5+ years in software licensing, hardware/software/IT services Sourcing, and track record negotiating enterprise licensing agreements in a global aerospace context.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum 4 years of experience in Digital Technologies & Software Sourcing/Procurement)Minimum 5 years of experience in Digital Technologies & Software Sourcing/Procurement
Nice-to-Have Skills
