About this role
Coordinate and oversee material control processes by entering records, generating reports, tracking shipments, and auditing operational functions. Work with customers to resolve stock shortages, identify cost savings, and improve inventory and material flow using analytics and dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
- Use computer to enter records and generate reports
- Weigh or count items for distribution within plant
- Complete daily logs and track shipments to meet deadlines
- Follow daily parts control function including track and trace, production schedule analysis, and exception management
- Develop customer-specific analytics and present during customer QBR's
Technical Overview
Use computer systems to manage inventory/material control data, perform auditing and troubleshooting, and analyze large data sets. Build and maintain operational metrics dashboards and analytics to support customer reporting and continuous process improvement.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an operations-focused analyst with 1-3 years of inventory/auditing/transportation experience and strong Excel and Outlook skills. They are analytical and safety-conscious, able to follow standard procedures while troubleshooting operational issues and improving material flow. They communicate clearly with customers to resolve stock shortages, track shipments, and present customer analytics during QBRs.
