About this role

Lab Associate II provides general laboratory support, assisting with sample preparation, labeling, LIS accessioning and data entry while following policies and procedures. The role supports licensed personnel in pre-analytic and analytic activities.

Key Responsibilities

Prepares and organizes samples for testing; labeling and handling of specimens; accessioning in LIS; data entry; assists licensed personnel; inventory management and reagent handling

Technical Overview

Focus on histopathology/cytology support, LIS data handling, reagent management, and routine lab tasks with attention to quality and safety.

Ideal Candidate

An entry-level lab associate with foundational histopathology/cytology exposure, LIS experience or familiarity, and strong attention to detail along with solid data-entry and documentation skills.

Must-Have Skills

1 year of histopathologycytology or other laboratory experience1 year of experience handling PHI and other patient information using a LIS
