Provides professional nursing care for patients admitted or seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures. Exercises professional leadership to guide the healthcare team, oversees nursing staff, and coordinates patient care across hospital departments.

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures
• provide professional leadership and guidance to the healthcare team
• oversee and guide nursing employees under supervision
• interact with hospital staff/ancillary departments regarding care concerns
• ensure compliance with service excellence and unit-specific certification needs

Clinical nursing scope of practice with RN licensure, BLS/ACLS as unit needs, and adherence to unit policies and ARC/AHA program requirements for Healthcare Provider’s certifications.

The ideal candidate is a mid-level RN with a Texas license and BSN preferred, bringing acute care experience and the ability to provide professional nursing leadership to a surgical/telemetry unit.
