About this role
Responsible for managing all store employees and the effective planning and implementation of store processes including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, selling, staffing and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to federal and state labor laws and company policies; ensure store is properly staffed
- Provide proper training for employees and conduct performance evaluations
- Maintain a clean, well-organized store and safe working environment
- Review operating statements and inventory management issues weekly
- Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability and cash control procedures

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level retail store manager with demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage inventory, and deliver strong customer service in a Dollar General environment. Age 21+ is required for this role; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
