About this role
Senior Site EHS Manager leads safety and environmental programs at the designated site, ensuring regulatory compliance, incident reduction, and continuous improvement through lean methodologies and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy
- Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to safety policies
- Measure site performance against safety requirements and address deficiencies
- Audit safety training and records
- Manage and mentor Safety Managers and Associates
Technical Overview
Scope includes OSHA-compliant safety programs, ergonomic risk management, Kaizen events, and data-driven risk analysis; requires strong communication with site leadership and corporate safety teams.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior safety professional with 7+ years in safety and people management, strong lean/kaizen experience, and the ability to drive safety metrics and training across a site in a manufacturing environment.
