About this role
Data Center Technician supports AWS data center operations; performs hardware troubleshooting, rack installations, and network troubleshooting; works in a 24/7 environment and travels to various data center locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix on components
- Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational incidents
- Serve as a primary contact point for internal and external stakeholders
- Perform on-call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management
- Contribute to documentation and process improvements; train new team members
Technical Overview
Hands-on hardware repair, network troubleshooting, equipment installation, documentation, and change management participation; requires ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in data center environments.
