About this role

IT Portfolio Management Intern supports Resource Management and Capacity Planning within Skechers IT Portfolio team; works with Portfolio, Project Management, and Finance to provide data for strategic IT portfolio decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with implementation of Resource Management and Capacity Planning tools
  • Document requirements from targeted users and stakeholders
  • Aggregate resources requests from projects to create an overarching resource view
  • Confirm accuracy of resource request information
  • Support rollout and training of the resource management solution

Technical Overview

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel), Smartsheet; familiarity with data management, governance, and financial concepts; developing communication and presentation skills.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an undergraduate student in economics/finance or related field, with strong Excel/Smartsheet skills, financial literacy, and the ability to work cross-functionally on IT portfolio management tasks in Skechers.
