Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Data Scientists and engineers to implement advanced analytic capabilities
Perform code reviews
Maintain technical development environment and implementation plan
Develop training documentation and advise on coding practices
Develop and perform unit testing

Stacks include Python and Scala with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, Hive, Impala, PIG, and HBase; SQL and relational databases; OO programming; scheduling and scripting tools Airflow, ControlM, CA ESP; Unix shell scripting.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior data science professional with 3+ years of big data and OO programming experience, comfortable with Python/Scala, Hadoop/Spark ecosystem, SQL and data engineering, capable of collaborating with data scientists and engineers in a hybrid in-office setting.
