About this role

Senior Data Product Manager leads the EDW data product strategy for the ERA platform, overseeing delivery of data assets for internal reporting and customer analytics. This role partners with MT, engineering, upstream data owners, and business stakeholders to maintain a unified data ecosystem across McKesson's Pharma distribution segments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the full endtoend lifecycle of EDW data products, including vision, roadmap, requirements, delivery, and continuous improvement
Maintain and evolve EDW architecture, LookML, and semantic layer design
Define and drive data product standards and enterprisealigned data definitions
Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications for engineering and platform teams
Implement and maintain data quality metrics, validation processes, and automated checks; oversee QA/UAT

Technical Overview

Scope includes EDW architecture, semantic layer design, LookML field development, and enterprise data governance. Technologies include SAP, Snowflake, Looker, and data warehousing concepts; emphasis on data quality, QA/UAT, and regulatory compliance.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior data product manager with 9+ years of data product mgmt experience, strong EDW and Looker/LookML expertise, and ability to lead cross-functional teams in a regulated healthcare environment.
