About this role

Johnson & Johnson Robotics is seeking a Primary Electrical Engineer for R&D Robotics focused on AI/ML compute and Audio/Video electronics. The role develops embedded hardware, PCBs, and AV interfaces for advanced medical robotics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, integrate and test embedded Acoustic and Video systems
Design PCBAs
Lifecycle ownership of PCBA designs
Conduct reviews and xFMEA
Perform EMI/ESD analysis

Technical Overview

Architecture and testing of embedded Acoustic/Video systems, PCBAs, and AV I/O hardware with familiarity in Linux/QNX RTOS and standard buses (PCIe, CAN, I2C, SPI). Full lifecycle design and documentation required.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level electrical engineer with 3+ years of hardware/PCB design experience, proficient in Altium Designer, and capable of delivering full lifecycle PCBAs for robotics/AV electronics in healthcare devices.
