Electrical Engineering Manager leads a control systems engineering team for display, gauge, and IVI systems in Polaris vehicles, guiding system definitions, interfaces, and supplier collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of control systems engineers
- Own system and subsystem engineering activities for display, gauge, and IVI
- Guide system integration and execution from concept through production
- Collaborate with architecture, UX/HMI, software, hardware
- Monitor execution progress and drive issue resolution
Technical Overview
Strong background in embedded display platforms (Android Automotive, QNX, embedded Linux); in-vehicle networks CAN/CAN-FD/LIN/Ethernet; emphasis on requirements traceability, functional safety, and cybersecurity.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an engineering leader with 7+ years in embedded display systems, strong in system architecture, supplier collaboration, and PDP-like processes; able to drive cross-functional results and champion cybersecurity and functional safety.
