Site Superintendent at Constellation New Energy facilities on-site at a customer's manufacturing facility, responsible for operation and maintenance of chillers and air handling units, managing contractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as sole Constellation representative onsite at customer's facility
- Operate assigned plants as Stationary Engineer in compliance with published policies
- Manage 3rd party service providers, contractors; monitor environmental compliance
- Maintain safe working conditions; enforce safety compliance
- Write and follow-up on work orders; maintain complete maintenance records
Technical Overview
Technical scope includes operating centrifugal chillers and rooftop air handling units; controlling via I&C; relies on Johnson Controls Metasys and Systecon PLC software; performs preventative/predictive maintenance; maintains maintenance records and work orders; ensures water quality; on-call for emergencies.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced site superintendent with a Maryland stationary engineer license (Grade 3), 8+ years of operating centrifugal chillers, and proven I&C and controls software experience. They thrive working on-site at a customer facility, manage contractors, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and maintain thorough maintenance records.
