About this role
Leidos seeks a Journeyman Technical Writer to standardize and produce documentation for the centralized Zero Trust program under the USSOCOM EDAT contract. You will manage the artifact repository, draft ICDs/SSPs/RA documents, and support governance materials for government leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Document standardization with style guides, templates, naming conventions
- ICD/RA/SSP artifact production
- Governance reporting (WARs/PMRs)
- Transition artifacts (CONOPS, SOPs, training)
- Knowledge management of artifact repository with version control
Technical Overview
Role requires MS Office with advanced formatting, Visio, SharePoint and Confluence repositories, and familiarity with DoD documentation standards (AR 25-50). You’ll translate complex technical concepts into professional government deliverables.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level technical writer with 3+ years of experience in DoD documentation, holding TS/SCI clearance, and proficient with MS Office, SharePoint, and Confluence. They can standardize documentation, produce ICDs/SSPs, and support governance reporting for a government enterprise program.
