Junior Sales Representative at D.R. Horton is focused on learning and executing the full home sales process. The role involves qualifying visitors, demonstrating homes, handling objections, closing sales, and maintaining accurate sales and lot documentation through to close of escrow.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and qualify visitors
- Demonstrate models/homes/home sites
- Overcome sales objections; close for the sale
- Document the transaction and any cancellations
- Track progress of loan, options and construction and maintain lot/sales files
Technical Overview
Technology requirements are light but specific: using DRH Sales applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop, and being proficient with MS Office and email. The job also requires maintaining organized digital/record files for transactions and cancellations.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level sales professional in training for the full home sales process, comfortable communicating with customers from first interaction through close of escrow.
