About this role
Key Account Manager is responsible for managing select high-profile customer accounts, delivering tailored solutions, and pursuing new business opportunities. This role requires collaboration with multiple internal teams and remote work with occasional on-site visits to customer factories.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages a select number of “key” clients that are strategically important and have a high-revenue potential
- Works closely with internal teams such as Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality and Finance to create tailored solutions
- Ensure sales accounts meet or exceed annual financial plan objectives
- Visit customer locations as needed to support the business and maintain good relationships
- Support program management and new launch activities
Technical Overview
Industrial components sales background with MS Office proficiency and CRM usage; ability to travel to customer sites and factories; strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior outside sales professional with 3+ years outside sales and 5 years technical sales in industrial components, strong account management and remote work experience, and proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools, willing to travel to customer sites.
