About this role
Lead the technical direction for cloud platform configuration, including Infrastructure as Code, automated deployments, and security planning. Partner with DevOps and other teams to drive upgrades, enhancements, and cloud application migrations while leading an engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers supporting administration of cloud-based environments
- Establish code-based CI/CD deployment plans for infrastructure
- Implement monitoring solutions for performance and reliability
- Partner with Development, Network and Security to integrate requirements
- Lead design/build/deploy of cloud applications including large-scale data processing and advanced analytics
Technical Overview
Own cloud infrastructure and automation using IaC across Azure and Amazon Web Services. Build CI/CD deployment plans, enable DevSecOps tooling, and implement monitoring and capacity planning for reliable cloud operations and large-scale data/analytics applications.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a lead-level cloud platform engineer with 5–7 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure and building automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). They have hands-on expertise with Azure and Amazon Web Services, strong CI/CD and DevSecOps tooling experience, and proven capability leading teams to implement monitoring, security controls, and cloud deployments.
