Lead Developer Python AI Gen

This role will lead hands-on development of Python services that integrate Generative AI capabilities directly into an enterprise data and analytics ecosystem. You will help accelerate data product delivery, improve ML/modeling platforms, and collaborate with partners beyond Technology.

• Embed Generative AI into workflows for developing enterprise data products and ML platforms
• Design and build Python-based services integrating LLM capabilities
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and offshore teams
• Partner with security, risk, and compliance teams for governance, privacy, and ethics
• Evaluate emerging data and AI technologies for practical viability and business value

You will design, develop, and maintain Python applications and services that use LLM capabilities with patterns including prompt design, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, embeddings, vector stores, and agentic AI. You will also apply DevOps best practices using Infrastructure as Code, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, ideally in AWS-based cloud environments.

The ideal candidate is a Lead Developer with 6–9 years of professional Python development experience focused on Generative AI and LLM integration. They have strong experience with prompt design, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, embeddings, vector stores, and agentic AI, and they build data-first services in an enterprise data engineering organization. They also bring DevOps experience including Infrastructure as Code, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, ideally on AWS.
