S&P Global Mobility is hiring a Lead DevOps Engineer to design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure and modern CI/CD pipelines. The role focuses on observability, SRE-style operational excellence, and mentoring teams while meeting SLA targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for zero-downtime releases
- Implement monitoring and observability with metrics, logging, and distributed tracing
- Drive SRE operational excellence with runbooks, playbooks, and auto-scaling to meet SLA
- Mentor engineering teams on DevOps best practices and cloud-native architecture patterns
Technical Overview
This DevOps & SRE role centers on infrastructure-as-code (including module development, state management, and GitOps-style workflows), CI/CD pipeline engineering, and containerization with container orchestration platforms. You will implement monitoring and observability (metrics, logging, distributed tracing) and run SRE operations using runbooks/playbooks and auto-scaling to achieve 99.5% uptime.

The ideal candidate is a lead-level DevOps engineer with 9+ years of hands-on experience on a major cloud provider who can architect and deploy production-grade infrastructure. They have deep expertise in infrastructure-as-code (including GitOps-style workflows), CI/CD pipeline engineering, and observability using metrics, logging, and distributed tracing, with SRE-style operational excellence (runbooks/playbooks and auto-scaling to meet SLA targets).
