About this role
Lead electrical engineering efforts for Textron Systems’ Sea Systems unmanned surface vehicle programs. Own electrical and communications subsystem design, analysis, integration, and test, while supporting proposals and engineering change management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed design of integrated electrical and communications systems on vehicles
- Perform analysis, integration, and testing
- Contribute to concept development including prototyping and production support
- Prepare formal engineering documentation and design presentations
- Support proposals and manage Engineering Change Notices/Proposals

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior-to-lead electrical engineer with 9+ years of experience designing integrated electrical and communications systems for unmanned/robotic vehicle platforms. They have strong experience across concept development, detailed subsystem electrical design, integration, testing, and field/manufacturing support, and they can author engineering documentation and technical white papers while supporting proposals with cost and risk inputs.
