About this role
This senior Lead Electrical Engineer role supports oil, gas, and chemical projects by leading electrical engineering efforts and reviewing design deliverables. The engineer will apply standards correctly (including NEC), review vendor documents, lead projects or proposals, and ensure quality through engineering checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex calculations and apply standards without supervision while taking lead with peers
- Review engineers' and designers' work and engineering/design documents
- Review vendor documents to ensure specifications and data sheet requirements are met
- Lead projects/proposals and interpret/apply codes and standards including NEC
- Lead quality checks and manage design changes to stay within budget and schedule
