About this role

Lead Estimator for Kiewit Power Engineering, responsible for developing civil construction estimates for power EPC projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, cost-effective designs that meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Review and apply engineering techniques to develop civil/structural estimates; develop site designs including grading and earthwork; prepare design concepts and alternatives; oversee Civil3D usage for quantities; develop subcontractor/material bid packages

Technical Overview

Uses Civil3D and other CAD tools to develop surface models, drive quantity takeoffs, and assemble bid packages; collaborates with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and construction teams; supports procurement and proposal efforts.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior-level civil estimator with 4+ years of power EPC experience, strong Civil3D/CAD tooling skills, and a proven ability to develop accurate site/civil estimates and bid packages for large EPC pursuits.
