About this role

Lead inspection strategy and oversight for metrology and NDE on aerospace components; act as technical authority; develop inspection procedures; oversee NDE Level 3 training and audits; drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as technical authority for metrology and all assigned NDE methods
Develop and approve inspection procedures and acceptance criteria
Lead method qualifications and capability studies
Certify and recertify Level 1 and Level 2 personnel
Lead NDE audits and compliance activities

Technical Overview

Hands-on metrology with CMM, laser scanning; NDE methods UT, RT, PT, MT, ET, CT; digital inspection workflows (MBD, digital twins); calibration strategies; ensure traceability to NAS/ISO/EN standards.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior-level NDE/Metrology specialist with Level 3 certification and hands-on CMM/metrology experience in aerospace production. They should lead inspection strategy, mentor inspectors, and drive NPI producibility reviews with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
