Lead Storage and Data Protection Engineer for L3Harris Secure Area IT, designing and maintaining storage standards, baselines, and asset management; RMF/ICD 503 compliance required.
Key Responsibilities
- SME for Secure Area IT in Data Protection and Storage
- Provide Storage and Data Protection design support for secure area environments
- Establish, document and maintain configuration and security standards per ICD 503 (RMF)
- Storage Asset Management tracking and vendor coordination
- Lead storage expansion/upgrade projects and training
Technical Overview
Scope includes Storage Networks, NAS, Hyperconverged platforms, and Data Protection (Backup/Archive); RMF/ICD 503 alignment; Linux/Windows administration; NetApp/SNIA certifications preferred; security policies and on-site operations.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior storage and data protection architect with 10+ years of storage administration in secure environments, holding TS/SCI w/ CI Poly and Security+ CE, able to design and maintain storage baselines and RMF/ICD 503 compliance across secure areas.
