About this role

Lead the design, implementation, and support of Azure cloud infrastructure for corporate IT and engineering workloads. Own scalable, secure Azure environments across Azure Government and Commercial platforms, using Terraform (HCL) and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) for Infrastructure as Code automation.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, and manage end-to-end Azure environments ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
Develop, review, and optimize Terraform code in HCL for Infrastructure as Code
Coordinate with Security for risk assessments and vulnerability remediation
Track and manage tasks using ServiceNow and Microsoft Planner
Create and maintain documentation including architecture diagrams, process workflows, and operational procedures

Technical Overview

This role is focused on Azure cloud architecture and operations, including deployment and management of end-to-end Azure environments. You will build and optimize Terraform code in HCL, work with ARM templates, JSON, and PowerShell, and coordinate with Security to conduct risk assessments and implement security best practices.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a lead Azure Solutions Architect with hands-on experience architecting and operating end-to-end Azure environments across both Azure Government and Commercial platforms. They are strong in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (HCL), Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, and PowerShell, and they partner closely with Security to perform risk assessments and remediate vulnerabilities.
