About this role

Lead Azure cloud architecture efforts across government and commercial workloads, overseeing design, deployment, and support of Azure environments with IaC and security in mind.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, and manage end-to-end Azure environments
Develop and optimize Terraform code in HCL
Lead discussions with internal stakeholders
Coordinate with Security for risk assessments
Create and maintain detailed design docs and mentorship

Technical Overview

Stack includes Azure, ARM templates, Terraform, IaC, JSON, PowerShell, PaC; cross-functional collaboration with Security and Engineering; Mentoring and documentation are key.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior Azure cloud architect with extensive experience in Azure Gov and Commercial workloads, Terraform and ARM-based infrastructure, and a track record of leading cross-functional cloud initiatives. Must demonstrate strong mentoring/leadership and be able to drive secure, scalable cloud solutions.
