About this role
Lead IT Support Engineer provides hands-on IT support for end users, maintains IT infrastructure, and ensures secure and smooth operation of systems on-site in Tampa.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Monitor IT infrastructure
- Document and track support requests using ticketing system
Technical Overview
Scope includes Windows and Mac endpoints, network troubleshooting, server and virtualization (Windows Server 2019+, Hyper-V), and regular IT security practices; uses tools like Ninja One, SolarWinds, Omada, CounterPoint POS, Ubiquiti.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on IT support professional with 3+ years of experience, strong Windows/Mac expertise, network troubleshooting, and familiarity with security practices. They should be comfortable on-site in Tampa and able to support end users effectively.
