About this role
The Lead Maintenance Technician supports maintenance and facility management to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance programs operate effectively and in compliance. The role troubleshoots and repairs manufacturing equipment, leads maintenance tier meetings, and manages work tracking using a CMMS (Maximo).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance assignments
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs using preventive and demand maintenance
- Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, cGMP's, and GMP/GDP compliance
- Operate and maintain CMMS (Maximo) and spare parts program
- Lead maintenance tier meetings and shift pass-downs with EHS tracking
Technical Overview
This is a medical device manufacturing maintenance role emphasizing compliance (cGMP's, SOPs, Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices). The technical environment includes CMMS operations (Maximo), preventive maintenance scheduling, troubleshooting, root cause diagnosis, and coordinated EHS tracking via Hazard IDs and an Action Tracking System.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a lead maintenance technician experienced in medical device manufacturing who can run preventive and corrective maintenance programs in compliance with cGMP's and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). They have hands-on troubleshooting and root cause diagnosis experience and can operate a CMMS such as Maximo while coordinating maintenance work and EHS-related tracking.
