This role is responsible for improving equipment reliability and driving a plant-wide continuous improvement strategy across Maintenance, Operations, Safety, Quality, and Training. The Lead Reliability Engineer uses data and structured problem-solving (RCA and FMEA) to reduce downtime, improve asset performance, and strengthen reliability-centered maintenance practices.

The engineering scope includes leading RCA and FMEA, building preventive and predictive maintenance programs using CMMS data and condition monitoring tools, and analyzing equipment performance trends and downtime data. It also involves modifying maintenance data collection procedures and codes using computerized maintenance history and production downtime system data.

The ideal candidate is a reliability engineering leader with strong experience running root cause analysis and FMEA to eliminate recurring equipment issues. They bring expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance programs using CMMS and condition monitoring, and they can drive plant-wide continuous improvement using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma, partnering across Maintenance, Operations, Safety, Quality, and Training.
