About this role
Lead sales associate who functions as a cashier and/or stocker, and acts in a lead capacity when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent. Supports merchandising execution (including plan-o-grams), transaction processing, store cleanliness, and store opening/closing responsibilities under area direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as lead in manager absence
- Operate cash register and flatbed scanner for transactions
- Stock and merchandise products using plan-o-grams
- Receive/unpack shipments and restock returned/recovered merchandise
- Support store cleanliness and opening/closing duties
Technical Overview
Primarily a retail POS and receiving/stocking operations role, requiring operation of a cash register and a flatbed scanner for itemizing and totaling customer purchases. Includes merchandising execution and adherence to SOP and Employee Handbook procedures; no explicit enterprise software systems are named beyond those documents.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a retail cashier/stocker who can step into a lead role when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent. They are skilled at merchandising execution (plan-o-grams, rotate/face), operating a cash register and flatbed scanner, and following store SOPs to support customer service, inventory replenishment, and store cleanliness.
