About this role
This Lead Sales Associate position combines cashier/front-end responsibilities with stocking and merchandising. It also includes leading the store operations in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, ensuring plan-o-grams are implemented and the store remains clean and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as cashier and/or stocker in a lead capacity
- Implement and maintain plan-o-grams and promotional programs
- Unload trucks and receive cartons and totes
- Operate cash register and flatbed scanner; handle payments and refunds overrides
- Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising, and safe operations
Technical Overview
The technical focus is on retail transaction handling and scanning, including operating a cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total purchases. The role also performs structured merchandising execution through plan-o-grams and store presentation tasks.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a retail lead capable of cashier and stocking duties while providing customer service leadership when store leadership is absent. They can operate a cash register and flatbed scanner, execute plan-o-grams, maintain store cleanliness, and follow Standard Operating Procedures and the Employee Handbook.
