About this role
This Lead Sales Associate role combines cashier and stocking responsibilities, with added leadership duties when store management is absent. The position supports plan-o-gram execution, merchandising, receiving, and day-to-day store readiness while prioritizing customer service and asset protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Function as a Cashier and/or Stocker
- Lead in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager
- Implement and maintain plan-o-grams
- Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to process purchases
- Open and/or close the store under Area Manager direction
Technical Overview
The scope includes operating a cash register and flatbed scanner, receiving and stocking merchandise, implementing plan-o-grams, and executing store front-end and merchandising presentation tasks. It also includes basic operational responsibilities such as opening/closing the store and authorizing/signing for certain refunds and overrides under direction.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a retail cashier/stocker who can operate in a lead capacity when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent. They should be strong at plan-o-gram and merchandising execution, accurate cash register operation with a flatbed scanner, and consistently protecting company assets while providing exemplary customer service.
