About this role
The Lead Sales Associate (FT) works as a cashier and/or stocker with a lead role when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent. The position supports plan-o-gram execution, drives exemplary customer service, and helps maximize profitability by protecting company assets and reducing losses.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload trucks and receive cartons and totes
- Stock, rotate, and face merchandise and build displays
- Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total purchases
- Implement and maintain plan-o-grams and related programs
- Act in a lead capacity and protect company assets by reducing losses
Technical Overview
This is a non-technical retail role focused on daily execution: truck unloading, receiving and stocking, merchandise rotation and plan-o-gram maintenance, and front-end checkout using a cash register and flatbed scanner. It also includes maintaining store cleanliness and supporting opening/closing under Area Manager direction.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a retail Lead Sales Associate who can reliably operate as a cashier and stocker while maintaining plan-o-grams, merchandise presentation, and a clean store environment. They can step into a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, accurately handle transactions with a cash register and flatbed scanner, and protect company assets by reducing losses.
