About this role
This role functions as a lead who works as both a cashier and stocker. You will unload trucks, stock and merchandise products, implement plan-o-grams, assist customers, and maintain store cleanliness while protecting company assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload trucks and receive inventory via cartons and totes
- Stock merchandise and maintain shelf presentation (rotate, face, displays)
- Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to process customer purchases
- Implement and maintain plan-o-grams and register countertop plan-o-grams
- Open/close store as directed and authorize/sign for refunds and overrides in management absence
Technical Overview
Store operations focused on point-of-sale transactions (cash register) and scanning purchases (flatbed scanner). Includes merchandising execution using plan-o-grams and adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures and handbook processes.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a retail lead who has worked as both a cashier and a stocker and can step in with store responsibilities when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent. They have strong merchandising execution skills (stocking, rotation, facing, plan-o-grams) and can operate a cash register and flatbed scanner while delivering exemplary customer service.
