About this role
This part-time Lead Sales Associate role supports store operations by performing cashier and stocking duties and acting in a lead capacity when store management is absent. The position focuses on customer service leadership, merchandising execution (including plan-o-grams), inventory/receiving support, and protecting company assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload trucks
- Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes
- Stock merchandise, rotate and face, build displays
- Operate cash register and flatbed scanner, handle payments/make change
- Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and store opening/closing
Technical Overview
The job requires hands-on use of retail operational tools such as a cash register and flatbed scanner, along with execution of receiving/stocking workflows and register plan-o-grams. It also involves performing standard store opening/closing tasks and maintaining front-end and store cleanliness.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a retail lead who can act as a cashier and stocker while supporting the store team in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. They have strong customer service leadership, experience with cash handling and scanner/register use, and are comfortable executing plan-o-grams, receiving/stocking processes, and daily store maintenance.
