About this role
Lead sales associate will act as a cashier and/or stocker while taking a lead role when management is absent. The role supports plan-o-grams, merchandising, front-end transactions, store cleanliness, and loss reduction by following company processes and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload trucks and receive cartons and totes
- Stock merchandise, rotate and face shelves, and build displays
- Operate cash register and flatbed scanner for checkout
- Implement and maintain plan-o-grams and register countertop plan-o-grams
- Open/close store under area manager direction and handle refunds/override
Technical Overview
Front-end and back-room operations for retail, including cash register and flatbed scanner usage for itemizing and totaling purchases, plus plan-o-gram implementation. Executes receiving, stocking, merchandising, and basic store maintenance tasks.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Part-Time Lead Sales Associate who has strong cashier and stocking experience and can step in as a lead when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent. They are dependable with plan-o-gram execution, merchandising, register operations (including refunds/overrides), and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.
